HeroFest will take place from 14 to 16 October 2022.
Where will HeroFest take place?
HeroFest will again take place in the halls of Bernexpo. The address of the exhibition grounds is: Mingerstrasse 6, 3014 Bern.
What are the opening hours of HeroFest?
Friday: 14.00 - 20.00
Saturday: 10.00 - 19.00
Sunday: 10.00 - 18.00

Is there parking at HeroFest?
Yes, you can park outside on the exhibition grounds or in the Bernexpo multi-storey car park.
When is the program fixed?
You will find the current program on our website. However, since we are constantly bringing new content to HeroFest, we are always adding something new. So it's worth checking back or following us on social channels!
Will there be options for food and drinks at HeroFest?
For our HeroFest visitors, we offer a wide variety of food and drinks from all over the world in the form of booths and trucks.
Is there an age limit for participation in HeroFest?
In principle, people of any age may come to HeroFest. However, there are a few contents at the event itself that are aimed solely at an adult audience. For these, there is a separate entrance with age control.
Is there a costume requirement?
Of course not! You can come in your "normal" clothes without any problems. If you wish to wear a costume, you may of course do so.
Is HeroFest's site barrier-free?
Yes. We highly value making the HeroFest accessible for all visitors. Wheelchair users need an AHV/IV ticket for easy access. The BERNEXPO also provides free WiFi. You can find more information about accessibility here.
Will there be photos and recordings of me?
In order to capture the HeroFest properly, we hire professional photographers and videographers who shoot material on site. With your visit to the HeroFest you also agree to be visible on these recordings.
Can I withdraw cash at HeroFest?
Where are the toilets located on the premises?
They are located in the stairwells adjacent to the exhibition halls.
Can I be refused entry to HeroFest?
At HeroFest we stand for fairness and tolerance towards all participants. We value personal freedom and want everyone to feel comfortable with us. However, if our rules are violated in any way, we are permitted to refuse admission to HeroFest or to expel you from the exhibition grounds.
Are dogs allowed at HeroFest?
Unfortunately, we can only grant dogs access to the premises if they are brought along out of medical necessity. (guide and/or assistance dogs)

In what form will I receive the ticket?
If you purchase the ticket via the online shop, you will receive it in the form of an e-ticket. You can scan the code yourself at the entrance. You still have the option of purchasing an e-ticket on site or you can get a physical ticket at the box office.
Which types of tickets are offered?
We offer two categories: Day tickets or 3-day tickets for the whole weekend.
How much does a HeroFest ticket cost?
A day ticket for Friday costs CHF 19.-, for Saturday or Sunday CHF 32.- each. The 3-day pass is available for CHF 69.-. If you buy a ticket at the box office, you pay a surcharge of CHF 5.-.
Do you have tickets for children?
Yes. Teenagers up to the age of 16 pay CHF 10.- on Friday, CHF 24.- on Saturday and Sunday and CHF 50.- for the 3-day pass. Children up to the age of 6 receive free access to HeroFest.
Can I transfer my ticket to another person?
Yes, you can. There will be no identity link.
What happens to my tickets if the HeroFest is cancelled/postponed?
Do not worry! In the worst case, we will fully refund all tickets.
What if I already have a ticket but can't attend HeroFest?
In this case, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund.

How can I register for the cosplay contest?

What does the cosplay program look like?
This year we are running a catwalk and a total of four contests: On Friday the beginner contest and the qualification for the Polymanga Swiss Cosplay League will take place. The catwalk takes place on Saturday and on Sunday we have the main contest in 5 categories as well as a group contest.
